January 2009 – November 2009:
During this period, we developed our original website and monthly online feature series called Storefront. The idea behind this series of projects was to present a ‘Design Blog’ in a completely new way, by creating custom ‘magazine style’ photo shoots of people and products interacting, instead of following the traditional ‘Blog’ format.

These ‘Storefront’ features were also featured in various design publications, like Enjin Magazine and One Small Seed.

December 2007 -September 2008:
Design is a good idea evolved beyond the refines of our original Facebook Group into a full fledged studio and creative hub. During this time we began establishing a network of International creative talent, focussing on various aspects of design, from illustration, photography, and art direction, through to motion graphics, animation, and various other creative fields.

Our most memorable and successful project during this period was creating all design material for the International Promax/BDA Awards, which involved our original concept of collaborating with an International team of creatives hand picked by ourselves.

June 2006 – January 2007:
As an offshoot of the renowned Graphic Design studio ‘thnkyvrymch’, Design is a good idea began life as an International Facebook Group, focussing on sharing idea’s and content within the creative industry.
